Viking Teaser

Jared just sent me some pics before before it to ano. My goal for the project is to create a milled Viking that retains its boxiness roots. Ano will be the stock color scheme, type 3 black with gloss black accents. Just thought I'd share my excitement with everyone. The next pics I get should be of it completely assembled.

As far as "boxiness roots" it looks like you just went with a standard DC mill? but without the tear drops on the top tube? Looks awesome...I love DC's

Yup, standard dc without windows. I think with the stock ano on it, it's going to make a nice milled Viking that's not flashy and will hold up great. It was a toss up between weight-reduction milling and the quad detents, i went the detent route.

How much extra is it for the inner tray? I'll give you 5 bucks if you do it (so there is one more fully internally milled DC viking out there)

Looks like it's $30 for tray milling. Jared may or may not already have it boxed up to send to ano.

Great Idea for a Viking. I did something similar on this one:

Cut a bit more off the top tube but made is square still. Also did all the hidden milling and off course put a frenzy frame on it.

Think I like the FSP cut better than hidden pocket. Would love to see one done with the cuts straight back from the reg to the tray area so it was square there too.

How much did the total milling cost of that turn out to be? Is it considered custom mill time since there was no windows?

That's what I was looking for, nothing over the top. Can't wait to shoot it, I'm attending a woodsball game at the end of the month.
