I need some shipping container models.

I have read about the different size models...N, H.O. ...all that.

If you know about this stuff, could someone give me a list of the sizes in order from smallest to largest? I'm looking for some about the size of a shoebox.

Thanks.

You need something the size of a shoebox that is a model of a shipping container? Well, my train-foo is a little rusty, but IIRC HO is small. Not sure about N, but anything the size of Lionnel trains would be too small and COST A MINT. There is a larger scale, im not sure the name that might be close. Problem is, those arent cheap either.

Have you ever thought about scratch building what you need? Im a recovering model builder, and somethng like that wouldnt be too tough.

A buddy of mine is way into model trains.....lemme give him a call and see. I know HO is the "middle" scale, but cannot remember if H or O is the big size. It wouldn't be as large as a shoebox, but fairly large.
Probably could do some google-fu and find out pretty quickly. Model trains are still going strong.

My buddy tells me that you are looking for "G" or garden scale.

The scale is "Z" smallest(1:220 scale), "N" next size up (1:160 scale), "O" middle size (1:48scale), and "G" largest size (1:24scale). Not sure where you can find shipping containers though? Have you looked on the bay? They have all kinda of stuff that might fit the bill....

Maybe something like this???
