Ok, i've recieved a minimag valve today and sure enough, before everything else i built the damn thing in and it doublefires and chuffs... :wall:

Symtomes:

- Double shoots
- Sometimes leaks out of barrel (not resetting right i think)
- Holding the trigger and then releasing it makes the valve go chuff, with a small movement of the bolt.

Most of my mags just work, and the one that i've thrown this valve in, did too. My guess would be that there could be a problem with the reg, or the on/off. Hopefully you guys have a idea of what this could be, because i don't know **** about this problem. :wall:

Errrr... :happydance:

A good nights sleep and some :coffee: made things clear... Dissasembled the valve, replaced some o-rings but the thing was practically new on the inside... What could it be? I swapped out the venturi bolt that came with it for a foamie one.. Hmm....

The sear rim on the foamie bolt has been worn down.... Why are things so obvious so easily overlooked? :wall: I've replaced the foamie bolt with a brand new one i've bought from a paintball store a few weeks ago. Gas up the marker and the problem is gone.

I was gonna suggest your sear was pooched, but that bolt looks bad. I wonder if it was ever in a Hyperframe? The captain of my team gets free sears and bolts from centerflag because his hyperframe eats them up.

Not sure, but i think it came out of a tin with some spare mag bits, together with a mag i've bought. At glance the bolt looks ok, so that's why i prolly used it. I should have known better, because the other bolt in the tin was used to hammer on something, :deadhorse1: so it was unuseable.

You might try that old bolt with a new sear and a long on/off pin, if the existing one was used also. Some people have commented that they thought their new sear from their x-valve was shaped a little different, but I don't know if they were referring to the engagement area or the body. New bolt doesn't cost that much though.
