Has anyone else noticed an overall slowdown in paintball talk activity across all the forums?

There seems to be a lack of anything interesting to talk about re: paintball in general lately.

Very nice my friend, and welcome to the club. I have to warn you that if you get a cheap scope it wont last one shot. I cant remember what i ended up with but i went through three really nice scopes before i found one that would hold up to the recoil. It will surprise you at 200 yards as well, by hitting your target every time if you are a good shot. It can reach out to 300 meters with the right round.

Also get the ammo in bulk, or go broke fast.

Best pistol ever:wthumpup:

How to make a magnum rattle. Take a empty 500 magnum shell and put almost any loaded pistol round in it and shake.lol

Ask Z-man. I gave him a live 500 grain round to show him what real stopping power is.

Haha, nice... I've shot a friend's 460 quite a few times and was looking to get one of those, but this came up this week from a friend of a friend for a good deal with dies, powder, brass, primers, and lead...so no I need to learn some reloading because I'll be damned if I'm gonna pay for factory loads other than a few times. I'm not sure I'll do a scope yet either, that's what my 308 is for haha.

Bought a house and have been really busy with the remodel.

On a related note it is raining constantly and I somehow rallied 4 other players for a rookie tourney with 11 other teams for this weekend. And gun sales have been slow.

I wanted a house and land for years until i learned that you dont own land here in america. You rent it from the state. If you dont pay your rent(taxes) you loose your land. But we have to do our part to pay all these taxes. So renting land from the state is not something i want to do after i pay for it.

Not one of these taxes existed 100 years ago and our nation was the most prosperous in the world, had absolutely no national debt, had the largest middle class in the world and Mom stayed home to raise the kids. What the hell happened?

Its hard to disagree with your sentiment on taxes. They sneak new ones in all the time.

But you are overlooking an obvious and glaring fact. You are either going to pay rent to the state, or pay rent to someone who pays rent to the state. Youre going to pay the state one way or another. The difference is if you own the property your investment will appreciate in value over the long-haul and you make money. If you dont own it, your paying rent to make the owner money. One way you win, the other you lose.

The 2 greatest investment vehicles for the vast majority of our population is the stock market and real estate. For the richest in our country there is a 3rd, which is business ownership(entrepreneurship). Take a look at the Forbes 500 and see how many fall into these 3 categories.

Oh come on 3000 square feet for two kids me and the wife. Why we will barely be able to squeeze all of our furniture in there. I mean really just because our country is all but single handedly driving the world into further energy crisis, consuming an insanely huge proportion of natural resources . . .

doesn't mean I would sacrifice and keep my family in an energy efficient apartment downtown.

If it is any consolation I am making significant energy efficiency upgrades and you can come and stay in the spare bedroom for a weekend. Just make sure you are here for a tournament so we can drive my gas gussling truck 600 km one way to go play!
