I have an RPG ULE Intelliframe. What is the best way to remove the trigger without damaging the frame and the ball bearing in the trigger?

The best way to do it is with an Arbor Press and a punch. You can pick one up pretty cheap at Harbor Freight.

The second best way is with a hammer and a punch. This way you are more likely to ding the frame so make it steady and be deliberate.

The only way to damage the bearing is if you drive the trigger pin knurls into it. The only way to do that is if you drive the pin in the wrong direction through the frame first. Otherwise, there really shouldnt be a way for you to hurt the trigger or bearing.

Rogue, thanks for the advice. I used hockey tape around the pin hole to prevent a ding. The pin came right out with a 1/16" punch, a hammer and a steady hand. Frame and trigger are flawless! :D

Do it right, and everything goes smooth. Sounds like you did it perfectly.
