I have been noticing a trend at the field lately - every weekend someone with an X-7 comes up with problems I cant resolve - usually either the cyclone feed is breaking paint inside of it, or every ball breaks before getting out the barrel.

Has anyone else expoerienced this? I was thinking maybe the timing is different for the X-7 cyclone over the A-5 or something.

For referrence, the rental A-5's have no problem shoting the same paint on the same day with the same barrel.

This is the first Ive heard this. I wonder if they are all having issues, or if youve just gotten a bad batch.

Keep us updated as to what you find out.

I quit carrying the X-7 due to the issues they seem very prone to. I think they tried to get it out to fast and didn't really go thru it very well. Actually Tippmann today is not Tippmann afew years ago they recently started using some new materials in the 98s and A-5s as well that wear out alot quicker and are now much more prone to having problems, although the X-7 is by far the worst. The main things I see on the X-7 are Cyclones breaking alot, and the airline exploding. Some sear and valve issues, but mostly cyclones and airlines.
