I am a new Emag owner and was wondering if someone could help me with the settings? I use a 92/4500 HP tank and I am looking to shoot about 15-18 bps. I have the ACE capability but do not have eyes in the body. I am mainly looking for dependability and not high bps. I have Xmod beta 1.8 software. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

With the emags, its as much about the specs of certain parts as it is the software settings. Firstly, are you having issues with it? LMK and we can go from there.

I pieced my Emag together. Is there somewhere a manual for programming? Is there some base settings that is a starting point? I would like to change the mode of fire. It is set on full auto.

The xmod manual can be found at Lornecash's web site www.niedtech.com (http://www.niedtech.com). IT covers all the bases on the software and hardware.

too long of a pin can cause them to go beserk auto as well. I am piecing a emag together with atachs lowwers and misc pieces and realized this when i woke up the baby and the wife. I had it under the covers muffled downstairs with a stock rt pin in it, which wouldve been quiet enough but when it when full auto i freaked and pulled it out from the covers to hopefully recover some air before it drained it all. Needless to say i was told do not tinker with paintball guns while the baby is sleeping.:slap:

Cycling trough the Xmod software is simple enough, but you should read the manual that can be found at the link BigEvil posted for all the details. The top button cycles trough the different menu's, and with the lower one you can change modes, pulling the trigger selects that mode.

Get your emag to work in mechanical first (shooting, velocity). Then adjust level X (to your liking), Then adjust the E-modes.

Got her fixed. I use an Egg III hopper. I went in to the E settings and had to change a few things. The ROF was F/A, BPS 20, dwell 25, Fix 45, ACE off. I set the ROF to Semi, bps 15, dwell 15, and fix is 1. I can cycle through the different modes of fire now without a problem. Works just fine now. Is there somewhere I can get a description of the firing modes for the Emag? I know all the different modes but I would like to have a description of what each one does. Thanks.
