Honestly though, i don't see how closing that thread is doing his job, i mean there was no reason it needed to be closed, he could have edited TheTexan's post on grounds of it being off topic/possibly disruptive as it was bringing up a different topic (that certain people, not naming names...) have been banned for for just bringing up. I just think it was handled really badly.

I guess that they finally realized that by banning Roguefactor and Myself that PBL picked up about 40 new members :clap:

The publicity is nice, but PBL is developing into a better product than AO is right now. Anyone with a few bucks, some time, and a URL can start an internet forum.. but it's the substance of it that will attract and keep members participating.

Tom Kaye could keep AO going strong just by participating regularly and directing the topics. Since he is not interested, that is not going to happen.

Which gets me thinking.. maybe it's time for some kind of contest around this place?

I'm not saying you weren't, but the tone of the post was pretty mean, and while i found it hilarious i can see how it can be taken as off topic, and you could have put it in a way that wasn't so close to the line that Beemer could twist it enough to make it against the rules. Not blaming you or anything or saying anything against you, just saying you could have worded your statement better.
