Sorry about the long delay in answering...
BigEvil... No chance on buying it... :p I've already written it into my will for future generations. As to the pictures... those were stolen from Zak. He's a much better photographer than I will ever be.
MedicDVG... I have spoken to Zak once in the last 3 or 4 months, but he is mostly out of touch. I miss getting a chance to talk to him, but he seems to be very busy with life.
behemoth... Yep, this beauty is a Kilaueakid creation.
BigEvil... I believe that Kilaueakid is the originator of the Kila detent. I'm not sure if he's the current manufacturer.
MadMarx... Yes, the valve is milled. According to Zak, "with Tom Kaye's permission".
To everyone else... Thanks. This is the first and probably only marker that I have fallen in love with. I saw it when Zak first put it up for sale over on OA and missed buying it. Fortunately for me, the buyer decided to back out. That made me the happy owner of this one of a kinda gem!

I was just offered a kidney by someone on MCB for CF00230,and I'm not selling... Back off b****es! ;)
I will be at TunaBall '08, unless something terrible happens. I will bring CF00230 and the SFL. I charge $1 per minute for cuddling my sexy 'Mag ;)
Definately looking forward to seeing you all there.
I will post some pictures of my latest creation when it reaches a presentable stage.

My pump mag project. It's all there, but never seems to function correctly. My winter project is to get this, a wood stocked mag Milsim and a couple of custom pistols finished.

This marker belongs to my niece, Sarah. For those of you at Tunaball I, you might remember this gun. It cycles at around 40 cps! Maybe a little faster, now that I've worked on it a little more.

War Machine Assault 80. My latest acquistion... :)

Last, but not least, my custom made, by me, Zweilling. It's a double barrel pump based off of a Sterling.
That's all for now folks,

Is that a Sniper I or Sniper II?
tymcneer
12-10-2007, 09:58 AM
BigEvil... The raw aluminium one is a Sniper I, serial number 774! This one is OLD! It has the original Thompson style barrel, and is a blast to shoot. It really likes unregulated CO2!
Maybe there will be more pictures here tonight. I pulled the bins full of markers out from under the bed over the weekend to look for some missing parts. I might get around to finishing the picture taking session.

modified on/off pin?
tymcneer
12-13-2007, 10:55 PM
Nope, I just tuned it right to the ragged edge of sanity! It kicks ***! Next major upgrade is to increase the input pressure from 1200 to 2000, just for grins and giggles! That *should* yeild about 50 cps, which is the goal for this project!
It is currently setup with an EMag valve, ULT with as many shims as I could squeeze in, a modified sear, and a Maxflo setup to stupidly high pressure.
No, I don't plan to photograph the sear, quite yet. I will sometime in the future, but now now.
