I picked this old girl up off of Ebay about 2 years ago. It has found its way on and off of the work bench at various times as the mood has hit me.

It actually took me a while to track down the various pieces. The valve tool and velocity adjuster were particularly tough.

I had the Cooper T bolt and the muzzle break. I attempted to mod one of those crappy plastic cocker slider frames to the gun. However, after about 1/2 a day of use, the stupid thing cracked. I found someone on MCB that makes that nifty little adapter bracket, so I was able to bolt up an aluminum slider fairly easy. The trigger plate took about 5 minutes of dremel work to get the sear to sit up high enough to get along with its new friend - the Sheridan hammer.

I also drilled and tapped out the hard line to the valve and replaced it with a standard macro fitting.

Nice gun! I've got a PMI-II LB (same gun? looks similar). Does yours have that PITA 1' feedneck? I hate it, gotta use my plumbing parts stick feed. How do you like that slider frame? Looks purdy. My velocity adjuster is a precision-cut  piece of macro line behind the spring. Works surprisingly well for what it is.

I like how you tapped the line to value. Very cool. Makes me wanna work on my LB. Speaking of that anyone know where I can get a value for one of these?

LOL - Snatch is one of my favorites!

PM Bacci Paintball on this site or MCB. He has vast amounts of old parts and gadgets.

Are you looking for the entire valve, or just the exhaust valve (cup seal and stem)? Palmers carries both, but only buy what you need. Generally speaking, the brass portions of the valve don't go bad. All I usually replace is the exhaust valve, and all of the orings, and that solves most leaks.

Thanks Ty. I just need the cup seal and stem. I am hitting up palmers as I type.

Make sure you get a valve tool, if you don't already own one. It will make you life so much easier. A friend uses needle nose pliers, but I prefer the correct tool for the job.

If it gets the job done, its the correct tool!

Speaking of, I can't for the life of me find another pair of the needle noses' I have that work.
